The app doesn't find my speakers
- Make sure your Mac, iPhone or iPad is on the same Wi-Fi network as your speakers, and not on a guest network.
- Allow local network access. On iPhone and iPad: Settings, Privacy & Security, Local Network, then turn on SyncSpire Audio. On Mac: System Settings, Privacy & Security, Local Network.
- Turn off any VPN while you're at home.
- Check that the Sonos app can see the speakers too.
The app says local control is off
SyncSpire uses your speakers' local control setting, called UPnP. In the Sonos app, go to Account, then Privacy & Security, and turn UPnP on. Then come back to SyncSpire and pull down to refresh.
A room shows as unavailable
The speaker may be asleep, unplugged or out of Wi-Fi range. Rooms you can't reach stay listed with the reason, and the rest of the house keeps working.
Free trial and purchase
- The 14-day trial starts when you tap Start free trial in the app. It includes every feature.
- One purchase unlocks SyncSpire Audio on every Mac, iPhone and iPad signed in to the same Apple Account, and for your Family Sharing group.
- On a new device, tap Restore purchase in Settings.
Refunds
Purchases go through the App Store, so Apple handles refunds. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
